This is the best explanation of why SOPA should go away forever that i’ve come across. Once again Clay Shirky demonstrates his masterful ability to put technology and the internet into an approachable context.
His 2008 book “Here Comes Everybody” already feels a little dated due to the specific examples he uses, but it’s the the best example of examining the Internets simultaneously disruptive and unifying nature. I highly recommend checking it out.
